LUIS ORTIZ

DIRECTOR OF IT

Luis Ortiz is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Director of Information Technology and the Director of Information Security at Assured Consulting Solutions (ACS). With over 30 years of experience in system engineering and intelligence solutions, he has supported various MAJCOMs throughout his career. Before joining ACS, Luis was a lead systems engineer for 11 years. During this time, he specialized in managing and securing information on a network critical to national security operations for DoD SAPCO. At USSOUTHCOM, he led a team of engineers responsible for operating a large, self-supporting deployable unit. Luis has also worked in various other technical roles, including comms planning for multinational military exercises, managing an effects forecasting database, multiple geolocation projects, radio signals exploitation algorithms, and collection.

Aside from his work, Luis is a married father of two boys and two dogs. He enjoys participating in local shooting sports events during his free time.
