  • Step 4: ACS Human Resources sends selectees conditional offer letters and details on the ACS Summer Intern Program.

Program Structure

Interns are not seasoned employees. For many this may be their first corporate job. As such, ACS commits to tiered levels of interaction with interns participating in our Summer Intern Program.

  • Interns are part of a cohort. Weekly brown bag learning opportunities are hosted for the intern cohort by ACS guest speakers.

  • Interns meet daily with their supervisors. These meetings serve to solidify and track learning objectives and individual project outcomes.

  • Interns attend bi-weekly roundtable sessions where they take turns facilitating the conversation. It is only attended by interns. The roundtable facilitator takes notes from the session and provides the notes to ACS leadership.

  • Interns are assigned a mentor. The mentor and intern meet at least twice weekly to check in and supplement their learning, satisfaction, comfort, and progress against goals.

  • Interns are provided time with ACS senior executives. Interns have one-on-one sessions with executives to better understand roles of the company, be given an opportunity to ask questions, and learn to network at senior levels.

  • Interns complete their internship with an internship out-brief using a pre-defined template to guide their presentation.

Continuing Employment with ACS

High performing interns will be invited to continue with ACS and part-time interns in the coming school year. Each case is addressed separately as the internship concludes.
